Ben is a great songwriter and an accomplished Hawaiian slack key guitarist. In addition to writing and performing original songs and instrumental music, Ben runs an online songwriter’s group that began during Covid whose members commit to writing 21 songs per year responding to prompts that Ben provides. 

Ben and I have collaborated on a number of songs, including “The Warm Winds Of July” which tells the tail of someone facing the final stage of his life trying to maintain dignity while seeking love and companionship.
