"High Maintenance" was written with Bette Midler in mind and we have never quite gotten the song to her. So, anyone who happens to have a Bette Midler connection, we would love if you would pass this on! When we were creating the demo, we did make one concession to Nashville and changed a reference to Bergdorf and made it Tiffany. if Bette does decide to record this, we'll happily change it back to Bergdorf!
