I met Aurora at a writer’s night in the East Village where we were both playing for Dramatico Publishing the night before they announced they were closing up shop in the US. I was running writer’s workshops for
Dramatico and Aurora was one of their writers. She is both talented and an activist for social change. She has created a program that brings music into underserved schools in New York City.
Ben Diamond
Ben is a great songwriter and an accomplished Hawaiian slack key guitarist. In addition to writing and performing original songs and instrumental music, Ben runs an online songwriter’s group that began during Covid whosemembers commit to writing 21 songs per year responding to prompts that Ben provides.Ben and I have collaborated on a number of songs, including “The Warm Winds Of July” which tells the tail of someone facing the final stage of his life trying to maintain dignity while seeking love and companionship.
