I had the hook "Milk Of Amnesia" and actually had written a completely different song with it. It was one of those cases where I thought the hook was better than the song, so I took it to Rich and said let's rewrite this completely, just keeping the hook. We ended up writing a commercial country song in the Kenny Chesney vein, and it's a fun song to sing though perhaps a touch politically incorrect.
