This is the latest song to come from my ongoing collaboration with Sean Trainor. The writing session in Sean's studio in Nashville was a perfect collaboration. I showed up with some hooks that I had prepped; Sean liked the first two but loved this one. After talking about a bunch of angles from which we could approach the hook and coming up with our "North Star', I fished out a unique first line and Sean countered it with a great second. He found the groove on his guitar, and when we were done writing he insisted that I sing this one. He then proceeded to lay down a great track for the work tape, including taking my harp playing and editing it down to some tasteful licks.In the past I enjoyed writing with Sean on Skype, but working in person was truly a pleasure.
